HIS SONG PIANO offers gentle and quality piano lessons that encourage learning while having fun.  It is a program specifically designed to build character, discipline, and the enjoyment of music.  The foundation of the instruction is a weekly private lesson which emphasizes note reading, technique and interpretation.  A child's maturity, ability, and goals are given consideration.  Motivation is enhanced by weekly prizes and awards throughout the year.  Several performance opportunities are scheduled.
    Many forms of music are introduced in the lesson, such as kid's songs and Disney tunes, or whatever piece can be used in the lesson to help increase the interest in learning piano. Parents are  encouraged to attend the first few lessons for children who are under 8 years of age. It's great if parents can help supervise the practice sessions at home too!

      As the student progresses, there is also composition and improvisation incorporated in the weekly lessons.
